ESP Ever After Junior Staff

We are so excited to have junior staff this summer! These are summer staff members who are still in high school, but have so much love for ESP that they are choosing to spend their entire summer with us, learning, growing, and helping our participants have the most magical summer yet! Learn more about these incredible staff members here!

What is your favorite ESP memory?

Zumba with Shawn was definitely something to remember.

What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

The amount of joy that ESP brings these individuals is so incredible. They don’t think of us as teachers, coaches, babysitters, etc…. they think of us as friends.

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

Any Tim Burton movie really

What is your favorite ESP memory?

Marc was given a canvas to put his hand print on and his first reaction was to begin taking his shoes off. I asked him why he was taking his shoes off instead of participating and he just replied “FOOT!”. So he took artistic license and proceeded to paint his foot blue for a foot print instead of a hand print!

What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

I’m so passionate about ESP because of the unconditional love that is ESP. Everyday love is given and shown to anyone who enters the building and experiencing that is like nothing else. And the most amazing thing is that it’s the incredible participants who show everyone how to love and accept.

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

I would live in the TV show Reign because it’s French court in the 16th century!

What is your favorite ESP memory?

We were at big hearts and a girl was getting upset cause she wanted to see Aaron Murray. Someone said Aaron murray was here at the building so she turned around and saw Jake and said “That’s not Aaron Murray I want Aaron Murray”. Then from the shadows Aaron Murray popped out and the way her face lit up was amazing.

What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

The children are what make me so passionate. It is hard to put into words but the childrens energy is what drives me to do what I do for ESP.

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

What is your favorite ESP memory?

I was having a particularly rough day recently, and was on the verge of tears. Nathan and Amber walked up to me, Amber gave me a hug and told me she was there for me no matter what, and Nathan told me I was loved. Then I started crying, but the tears were happy.

What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

As someone who is relatively shy and introverted, spending time at ESP has led me to the most pure people. People who make me laugh until I cry, people who cause me to think about the world, and people who are simply there for me. The staff, volunteers, and the participants mean so much to me, and the only way I can return the joy ESP has brought me is through the passion I put back in.

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

Alice in Wonderland

What is your favorite ESP memory?

I looked at Drew with chocolate on his face and asked “where’d you get those scares?” As a batman reference… He then looked at me grinned like the joker and said “acne!”

What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

ESP is a place where everybody can be them self wether a participant or staff. I can come out of myself and act silly without worrying what people think. By being myself I make each an every participant happy and it’s such a wonderful feeling.

If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?

I would live in a Nicholas Sparks movie so I could marry someone like Zac Efron and live happily ever after
