What is it about ESP that makes you so passionate about this organization?

Walking into ESP can turn any bad day into a good one. It is a place brimming over the top with love. Seeing the joy on the faces of every participant makes the hours spent behind the scenes beyond worth it. Coming into ESP for the first time last summer as a summer staffer, I thought I was going to be teaching the participants. But what I have learned from them is ten fold what I could ever even imagine teaching them. They continually teach me what it means to live a joyous, love-filled life. They don’t hold back. They love fiercely and care deeply about everyone they meet. I can count on at least five hugs every time I walk through the doors, and what better way is there to be greeted really? Every day is ESP is a new adventure where I am constantly learning more about life and I cannot wait to see what I learn this summer.

What are you most excited about for this summer?

I am really excited to view camp from a different perspective than I did last summer. I cannot wait to capture the joy and fun the campers experience throughout their time at ESP and be able to share that with everyone. Even through pictures, I believe people can experience the love that fills ESP and I am excited to play a small part in sharing that with people.

What is your favorite ESP memory?

Oh wow, there are so many to choose from. I think if I were to pick one, it would be overnight camp at Camp Twin Lakes with NKA last summer. There truly is nothing like spending an entire week at camp. It was a week full of laughter, learning, loving, and a whole lot of singing.

What is a fun/interesting fact about yourself?

I used to have my own Etsy shop where I designed cards and prints to sell.
